Little Pieces of Gold: no set theme

Deadline: 25 August 2017

Little Pieces of Gold seeks short plays on any theme from UK-based writers. Plays must be no longer than 10 minutes and selected scripts will be cast and fully rehearsed by a team of directors and then staged at Southwark Playhouse on Sunday 24 September.

Taking Flight Festival 2017

Deadline: 1 October 2017

Red Dragonfly Productions are looking for new and emerging writers from British East Asian, South Asian and South East Asian communities who are interested in contributing and sharing their contemporary and traditional stories. Successful applicants will be invited to a free workshop and from that three applicants will be selected to have their plays produced and performed in their festival in July 2018. 

There will be a £1000 fee paid to each writer whose play is performed at the festival.
